The CSM promotes regional education in microscopy related areas in several ways.

The Poster Meeting - Wednesday, May 23, 2001 (see Announcements)

Workshops - We are planning a workshop for this year.  It will be announced later.

High School Teacher Award - Recognition for an outstanding high school teacher that uses or promotes the use of microscopy in education.  We really need the memberships help with identifying candidates. To nominate someone just write a nomination letter describing why the teacher deserves this recognition (please include contact information for the teacher) and send it to any council member.
