Frontiers in CryoElectron Microscopy

Co-hosted by

CSM and the Structural Biology Interest Group-NIH

The Cloister's lecture hall on the NIH campus was full Friday April 20th as we listened to some interesting and timely talks on the state of cryoelectron microscopy. Our lineup of speakers included Dr. Jaques Dubochet from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland), Dr. John Heuser from Washington University (St. Louis), and Dr. Ron Milligan from The Scripps Insitute (La Jolla). This event was sponsored by the following groups: the NIH Structural Biology Interest Groups, NIAMS, NINDS, NIBIB and Chesapeake Society for Microscopy as well as Leica Microsystems. A heart-felt thank you to all who joined us and helped make this a special joint symposium a big success. Below are a few images of the afternoon that we would like to share with you.
