ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR POSTERS

2005 POSTER MEETING and EXHIBIT

Co-sponsored by The Catholic University of America Department of Biology

What is it?          This annual event is an occasion to get together with other microscopists to discuss and show off your work.  You see everyone’s latest and greatest pictures as well as checking out the displays of our corporate sponsors…get up to date on new equipment, techniques and supplies!  All the while socializing over a great buffet.

When?      Thursday, May 26, 2005 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

Where?     The Catholic University of America, McMahon Hall Foyer.

Directions and Parking:  Good directions are available at The Catholic University of America web site http://www.cua.edu/directions/. From most places you will take Michigan Avenue until you see the dome of the Shrine marking an entrance at 4th Street, NE.  McMahon Hall is in the middle of the campus as shown on this map, http://welcome.cua.edu/maps.cfm. There is no free parking on campus. There are some metered spots next to the Basilica and on McCormick Road on the east side of the campus. The Metro stop across McCormick Road also has a lot.  The Metro is right next to the campus and only a 3 or 4 block walk to McMahon Hall, so we strongly encourage anyone who can to take the Metro.  For Mapping: 620 Michigan Avenue, NE, Washington, DC 20064
